Why does carbon work take companies so much time?

2026 is the year Vietnamese companies have to handle several carbon tasks at once:

• Mandatory inventory: the 2,441 facilities listed in Decision 42/2026/QD-TTg must submit their inventory reports by 31/3/2027.

Fast, but is it safe?

This is the first question every business owner asks, and EcoCheck is designed so the answer is yes:

• Standard OAuth sign-in: the AI never knows your password. Users choose read only or allow writing when connecting.
• The workspace owner grants permissions: turn AI on or off for the whole company and set View only, View and edit or Full access for each member. The default is View only.
• Never beyond the user's permissions: the AI only sees data that person is allowed to see. Deletion always requires explicit confirmation.
• A log of every action: who, which tool, when, and whether it was allowed or blocked; filter and export to CSV for audits. Disconnect AI for one person or the whole company immediately.

Frequently asked questions

Which ChatGPT or Claude plan do I need?

You need a plan that lets you add a custom connector. ChatGPT requires Developer mode to be turned on. You can also use Claude Code, Cursor or VS Code with the same address.

Can the AI get the calculations wrong?

The AI does not calculate emissions itself. It calls EcoCheck's tools, and EcoCheck calculates using Vietnamese and IPCC factors, GWP AR5/AR6 and the methods validated on the platform. You can ask for a preview of the emissions before saving, and every data line shows the factor, unit and who entered it.

Is company data used to train AI?

EcoCheck only returns the data each request needs, within the user's permissions. Storage of conversation content follows the AI provider's policy and your account settings.

Does it cost extra?

The AI connection is included in your EcoCheck account at no separate charge. ChatGPT or Claude is billed by that provider.
